Picture:

I took this photo more than 10 years ago. My young nephew once wanted to take a look at my photo album - among other photos he saw this one. Next time he visited me he asked me to show him the photo of the "poor kid in the unpolished shoes". It had never crossed my mind that this boy might be poor and I hadn't noticed that he was wearing unpolished shoes. We all look at the world in differnt way!

very true. but i can agree with your nephew, he does look like he could be poor. taking the photograph in black and white really adds to the gloomyness of it to.
